Aegerter (7th) best Suter rider, Mulhauser fights well

18.05.2014

Every weekend is not always the same: on the circuit of Bugatti, that welcomed this weekend the French GP, Dominique Aegerter (Team Technomag-carXpert) was not able to repeat his fantastic previous performances (3td in Texas, 4th in Argentina, 2nd in Jerez de la Frontera). 7th in the race, he claimed the best Swiss performance of the day and was the best Suter rider. He is 4th in the overall world championship standings. 25th in this race, Robin Mulhauser had a long battle with Spanish champion Ramos and Malaysian Shah before he got beaten by them on the final lap.

Dominique Aegerter (7th): "The first two laps were difficult. Everyone took too much risk at the beginning. I tried everything to stay with Maverick Viñales but in vain. Later, another race started for me. With my countryman Thomas Lüthi we tried to help each other on the final straights but it was not enough to close the gap between us and the leading group that was fighting for the podium. I had the same pace all weekend and it was simply not enough to expect more. We have to keep working; I wasn't losing much for the victory in Jerez and in Argentina we deserved a podium, that is to say that our technical base is not bad. Everything is played on details in this category and we did not manage to put everything together."

Robin Mulhauser (25th): "My race was better than practices. I had a great battle with the Spanish champion Roman Ramos and Malaysian Azlan Shah. I was even in front of them on the penultimate lap before they surprised me only at the very end. I am learning this circuit and it is not easy at all and as long as I progress in each session I am doing my job."
