Iker Lecuona will replace Dominique Aegerter for the remaining 4 races

06.10.2016

CGBM Evolution, which aligns teams carXpert- Interwetten and Garage Plus-Interwetten in the Moto2 World Championship category, decided not to engage Dominique Aegerter for the remaining four races of the 2016 Moto2 season. This decision was made following Dominique's signing with another team for the season 2017, while an agreement had been reached with CGBM Evolution a few days earlier.

Iker Lecuona, racing in the Spanish CEV Moto2 Championship this season, will replace him alongside Robin Mulhauser. The young Spaniard (16 years old) has replaced Dominique Aegerter in the British Grand Prix (Silverstone) and in San Marino (Misano).

CGBM Evolution would like to thank Dominique for the long collaboration, with highlights including one victory (Sachsenring 2014) and two 5th positions in the Moto2 World Championship overall classification (2013 and 2014), and would like to wish him all the best in his future career.
