Forced rest for Randy Krummenacher

23.09.2013

Following his crash at the Grand Prix of Silverstone (Great Britain), Randy Krummenacher complained of recurrent pains in the head and the neck.

After the medical examination at the mobile clinic, the doctors gave the green light for the race. Yet at Misano, Randy was still not at his best form and we thought that he showed first symptoms of flu.

In view of his worrying health concerns, we wanted to make additional tests, which he did in Zurich. The doctors subsequently diagnosed a concussion linked tothe Silverstone crash. The doctors have now prescribed rest to Randy so as to allow optimal recovery. The health of our drivers as well as their safety being of utmost importance to us, Randy will unfortunately not participate in the Grand Prix of Aragon (Spain) and will remain in Switzerland for his recovery.

The entire Technomag-carXpert team looks forward to his return and wishes him a speedy recovery. We are appreciative of what he achieved during the two races following the crash. Riding in his condition and crossing the checkered flag with diminished physical abilities deserve our respect and demonstrate the tenacity of our rider.
