Aegerter has it under control. Krummenacher struggles with the clutch.

Under the Adriatic sun of Misano, we found the Moto2 category where we had left it two weeks ago in the United Kingdom: a very well balanced category, where thousands of a second can make a big difference - this was the case also this Friday between Japanese Nakagami and Spanish Pol Espargaró in first and second position respectively, who had a minimal gap between them as the standings change on every lap. As a result, within only a few minutes this Friday afternoon, two obvious candidates, Esteve Rabat and Takaaki Nakagami, ended up sliding on the ground. In this extremely hot conditions, Dominique Aegerter (team Technomag-carXpert) had a successful day (11th lap time), less than 6 tenths of a second from the fastest. Having recovered from a cold that left him with no force 10 days ago, Randy Krummenacher ended his Friday in 19th position. On Saturday evening, team Technomag-carXpert will remember what happened in Misano to their rider Shoya Tomizawa, who lost his life on this circuit three years ago. A photo exposition will be on display with the presence of Yukiko, the mother of the sadly lost.

Dominique Aegerter (11th): " Everything was great this morning, but a bit worse this afternoon even though I managed to improve my lap time. I had the same tyres all day so I covered the whole distance of a race without any particular problems. I am losing half a second (569 thousands exactly) and I know that I can scrap this on Saturday in qualifying; what I do not know, however, is how much the riders in front of me will be able to progress."

Randy Krummenacher (19th): "The day was difficult. This morning, as in Silverstone, I again had serious problems with my clutch with a tendency to overheat. Fortunately we managed to find a solution with the whole team this afternoon. I rode alone in a steady pace, but it's still not enough. Now that this technical problem is resolved, I can concentrate on my riding, because I absolutely need to get closer to the top."
